Alii Bariatric Center is dedicated to effectively assess and manage excess weight and obesity in a comfortable and friendly setting. The medically trained staff is familiar with the steps to provide each patient with the direction and support needed to effectively lose weight and keep it off permanently.

Our Center will provide practical information on dietary therapy, physical activity, and behavioral modification, while also providing guidance on the appropriate use of pharmacy therapy (e.g. drugs for appetite suppression) and surgery as treatment options. We will provide a treatment tailored to the needs of each person.

There is no “cookbook” or standardized set of rules to optimize weight reduction with a given type of patient.

There are also some exclusions from weight loss therapy, and some patients for whom weight loss therapy is not appropriate such as: pregnant or lactating women, persons with a serious uncontrolled psychiatric illness such as major depression, and patients who have a variety of serious illnesses and for whom caloric restriction might exacerbate the illness.
